We are recruiting in Gidy a Raman Spectroscopy Expert (M/F) for a mission within a prestigious pharmaceutical group. Our client is a leader in the discovery, development, and distribution of therapeutic solutions focused on patients' needs. They have core strengths in the healthcare domain, particularly in diabetes management, human vaccines, innovative drugs, consumer healthcare, emerging markets, and rare diseases.

As a Raman Spectroscopy Expert (M/F), you will actively participate in providing support for the implementation and deployment of process analytical technology, with a particular focus on Raman spectroscopy for data collection, model building, and transfer across scales in Cell Culture Development, Technical Pilot, and Drug Substance Manufacturing Plant.

Main responsibilities:

• Collect data on various projects related to the implementation of Raman spectroscopy.


• Prepare reports, memos, and presentations (in English), adhering to best practices defined by our client and internal standards for the implementation of Raman spectroscopy across different scales.


• Report writing, memos, and presentations (in English), following best practices and internal standards.


• Build statistical models using relevant statistical software.

Your profile:

• Master's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field with a solid background in Raman Spectroscopy and data analysis.


• Proven experience in the implementation of Raman spectroscopy in a laboratory or GMP industrial site.


• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, MATLAB, Python, or similar) for building statistical models.


• Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and best practices in analytical chemistry and programming.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, memos, and presentations.


• Advanced English.

• Type of contract: Permanent (CDI) or Fixed-term (CDD).


• Location: Vitry sur Seine


• Start date: 01/12/24


• Salary: based on experience.
