Description du poste et des missions
Naobios, a French CDMO with a strong international focus, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the development of its business across Europe and Asia.
Reporting to Naobios Business Development & Marketing Director your missions will be as follows :
- Develop and grow Naobios’ business internationally, promoting our CDMO services through targeted prospecting, conferences, trade shows, customer visits and other business development activities.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of prospects and customers, from lead generation and qualification through to project initiation and contract signature.
- Identify and develop new business with a particular focus on biologics, viral vectors, vaccines, oncolytic viruses, exosomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical decision-makers, including CMC, Technical Operations, R&D and external manufacturing teams.
- Understand customer needs and translate scientific and technical requirements into relevant CDMO solutions.
- Work closely with Project Management, Process Development, Manufacturing and Quality Control teams to shape opportunities and initiate new projects.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, support negotiations and contribute to closing new business.
- Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting and provide regular updates on business development activities, pipeline and forecasts
Profil souhaité
- Master’s degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy or a related field.
- 3–8 years of professional experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management within the CDMO, biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of biologics and/or viral-based products, ideally with exposure to viral vectors, vaccines, oncolytic viruses, cell & gene therapy or related technologies.
- Experience in selling technical/scientific services or solutions to biotech and pharmaceutical companies is highly valued.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior scientific, technical and CMC decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities, manage a sales pipeline and convert prospects into projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to discuss both scientific/technical and commercial topics.
- Fluent English is mandatory. French is a plus. Knowledge of Japanese, Korean, German or Dutch would be an advantage.
- International mindset and willingness to travel regularly across France, Europe and Asia.
