What you will do 



 



Materials Planning Manager is responsible for Essential Health (EH) and Skin Health (SH) segments leading our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) team. The individual will be responsible for successful delivery of our Supply chain OKRs - with the main focus on material availability and inventory, being the ultimate direct responsible for all MRP related topics. The resource will oversee a total organization of 13 employees located across several sites in Europe.



 



Key Responsibilities



 




  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the material replenishment team, ensuring sufficient actions are taken to resolve criticalities in terms of material availability.

  • Prioritize and manage key escalations related to material availability or supplier performance in collaboration with Source, RRT (Rapid Response Team) and other stakeholders.



 




  • Work towards standardizing MRP processes and deploying best practices across all manufacturing sites to achieve consistency in our ways of working and to drive team’s performance.

  • Define system policies and strategic/tactical actions to maintain optimal Inventory levels in order to fulfil required supply chain targets; monitor execution and define plans to properly address main derailers.

  • Support the team defining most critical phase-in/phase-out strategies and oversee execution to make sure obsolescence costs are minimized.

  • Monitor performance of the Accounts payable process, to ensure timely payment of invoices and minimal rework required to manage the process increasing process automation.

  • Contribute to Supplier performance management by keeping suppliers accountable in terms of  service and planning requirements. Request corrective actions and escalate when supplier performance does not meet our standards.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and effective manner.

  • Lead and coach the team onsite and remotely to ensure they have the necessary skills to meet business objectives. Engage in continuous improvement in terms of MRP processes and practices, ensure sufficient resources are allocated to drive the more strategic workstreams.

Compétences requises

What we are looking for




  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Economics, Operations or related field

  • More than 7 years’ experience in Supply chain, with at least 3 years in Material Planning

  • At least 3 years in a team lead role managing a team of 5+ people

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

  • Advanced command of Excel

  • Additional experience in other areas of supply chain (Manufacturing, Transportation, Procurement) preferred

  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred
